Marcel arrived bright and early this morning at 7.30am to finish the plastering. He worked hard and was finished by about 4.30pm. It is now a case of waiting for the plaster to dry out before I can start painting - something I am really looking forward to.

Sanding beams complete
I have done all that I can inside the building apart from a little bit more work on the oak mezzanine floor.
Week Thirty - sanding internal beams
I have been busy sanding the internal beams - pretty dusty and awkward work. I have used sanding blocks, a mini mouse sander and an orbital sander. The beams have come up quite well but it is a shame that some of them weren't in the best condition they could have been as they were stored for longer than planned in our garden under just a tarpaulin before being used. This resulted in them being affected by a mildew type black mould which although sands off, has meant extra work.
